Senigallia, Italy — June 12, 2025 — For twelve days, the bright Yellow Tent of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers stood in the Palazzesi Gardens, offering the citizens of Senigallia more than just information—it brought real solutions, personal support, and hope.

The Volunteer Ministers, a global initiative founded in the 1970s by L. Ron Hubbard, aim to provide practical help to anyone, anywhere, regardless of background. In Senigallia, 1,681 people visited the tent, and 306 started life-improving courses on topics such as communication, study skills, and resolving conflicts. This nearly doubled the engagement seen in Modena, where 1,050 people visited and 176 enrolled in courses.

“Our job is to bring hope and action to those who need it most,” said Mario Caradonna, a long-time Volunteer Minister. “It’s not just about reacting to emergencies. It’s about building strength in daily life.”

The team is no stranger to Senigallia: in 2022, they responded to the city's devastating flood, contributing over 1,000 hours of volunteer work. Their return was met with appreciation and strong community participation.

“We help where it’s needed—cleaning public spaces, supporting families, or offering tools for better living,” said Gloria Forne, another volunteer.

Senator Remigio Ceroni praised the work of the Volunteer Ministers, calling their contribution “an important example of the strength of Italy’s drug education volunteer network.”

Reflecting on the broader mission, Iván Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European Institutions and the United Nations, said:

“These volunteers embody the spirit of compassionate action. In a world full of uncertainty, they prove—every day—that something can be done about it.”

With over 200,000 Volunteer Ministers active globally, the movement continues to grow as one of the largest independent relief forces in the world—driven by Hubbard’s original vision of empowering individuals to improve life for themselves and others.
